K6VIS D-Star

I noticed the K6VIS D-Star repeater was back up, I was able to hit the A, B, & C module with my 9700 and get a callsign back but it looks like the gateway is having issues.

I can bring up the dashboard for the repeater at https://45.24.113.202/ and it shows my callsign but I'm not hearing any responses to my commands. Is this still a work in progress?

I have been working on things when time permits. Are ypu registered on a gateway? If not, it MAY be you need to be registered somewhere to connect.
From the command line, i have modules A and B connected, but C doesn’t seem to be.

Should all be up now. Myself and Greg W6PYP have been testing things over the past few days and things seem to be working. I‘m down in Bakersfield so I cannot hit the repeater directly that well so I’ve been using the Doozy application via terminal mode on my IC-705. Our group Mountain West DMR is going to be adding a DStar stack (2m/70cm) here at Round Mountain in Bakersfield and we are looking at a few sites on the west side of the valley as well. Hope to hear some people on the air!

Yep seems to be working, I was able to hit it with my 9700 on all 3 bands from West Fresno. I will have to try it from the car later.

What antenna is being used for 1.2Ghz? I am able to hit the repeater but it is not a reliable connection and the repeater is not coming back to me full scale, I have to use my pre-amp to get it up to S9. Just using the 10w off my 9700 and a tri-band vertical on my roof.

Any ideas why I cannot connect to REF012A? Must be something up with that reflector as I cannot connect to it on W6HHD either but Doozy and BlueDV connect to it just fine.

I'm checking with PAPA System on this to see if they require some type of autorization for connection to their reflectors. It was my understanding though that inorder to run a DStar reflector that Robin AA4RC requires that all reflectors be open to the public. Guess we will see what PAPA says. Thanks for the QSO today and helping me test the reflectors.

Can you try and link to REF012A now. I was able to link this morning. Only response I got from PAPA was "looking into it" but that's been it. Kind of a crappy response considering how much their membership is! Never the less I was able to link on the WX6D gateway, but I can't hit K6VIS reliably enough to link it.
