Are we using the same location or do we want to do a camp-out in the mountains? Perhaps somewhere near Big Meadows and Buck Rock. There is a bit of dispersed camping in the area. One thing about a camp-out is not everyone can make the trip. We used to use the Senior Center in Miramonte, near Badger, but that likely is not an option.
i would like to do Winlink and packet on UHF/VHF/HF, along with other digital modes. I may be able to bring my Yaesu FT-991A and/or my Icom IC-7100 and some wire. Both radios can do the digital modes mentioned just fine.
