Morning to all,
The TCARC Field Day for May 6, 2023 will be from 0800-2200 HRS at the Vossler Farms Pumkin Patch on the west side of Mooney Blvd. There will be a BBQ available, thanks to the Taylors. We'll have several different types of radios available for use; HF, 2M, and GMRS (Scott Day.?). We are still working on bathroom facilities availability due to cost, $300?, however, we'll have something even if it is a 5 gal. bucket and a plastic bag.
I will bring a coffee pot for water, water for coffee and tea, a couple of tables, a few chairs, a couple of ice chests, and appropriate cooking utensils, I have two boxes of away from home kitchen/cooking supplies. John Martin is offering some meat patties, I will make a pot of beans and have a bag of tortilla chips. We need hamburger buns, cheese slices, cold drinks, ice, snacks, fruit, etc. I am assuming 15 people will be around to eat during lunch and dinner. If you plan to bring something or wish to assist, please let me know at 559 301 4444, text messages are ok.
Additional chairs, tables, generators, extension cords, popups, etc will be needed for this event.
Thanks to Richard Miller for heading up this event. Terry Stafford for the Vossler Farms connection, Kirk Vossler seemed very interested in our event and will probably stop by.
