Chirp is great software! Always import a base radio image and keep it safe so you can go back to factory defaults when needed. Take the aggravation out of programming the Baofeng's.

I have never use chirp but I have heard it can be free and it works well ! I pay for my program and I use it for all my radios the cool thing is I can copy and past from one radio to the next. Yes it takes the frustrating part out here
